Blood pressure affects the function of the kidneys, arteries, and the entire body. African Proverb: Not all flowers produce fruit

Meaning: Even of fruit producing trees, not all the flowers on a tree produce fruits. Of course there many factors that could account for that but chief among them is 1. the lack of cultivation. To cultivate is to care for, in order to grow to produce desired results. Cultivation requires a lot hard work and patience. You see, it's one thing to have potential and another thing to develop that potential. You may have the potential to be a great person, but if you don't work towards it, that will never materialize. The second main reason why fruit-bearing trees don't produce fruits, as explained by Agriculturists, is that they spend most of their energy producing wood instead of flower buds. The same is true of us human. The reason many of us are not fruitful, even though we have the potential is that we waste our energy on chaff (unproductive activities) What do spend most of your time doing? Don't waste your potential.

African Proverb: clouds do not always mean rain but smoke is a sure sign of fire

African Proverb: clouds do not always mean rain but smoke is a sure sign of fire.
Meaning: You can have a reason without a resultant action but you cannot have an action within an underlying reason. Nothing happens without a reason. You may not remember why you did something in the past, but there was a reason. Even animals have a reason for what they do. You may have heard of the popular riddle joke that asks "why did the chicken cross the road?" to which the correct answer is "to get to the other side". Often times, when people have a bad reason for doing something, they cover it with a lie by saying they had no reason. But that's a lie. Beware. Country's Proverb: Djibouti

Tanzania to push for reforms in the ICC

Tanzanian flag, Tanzania, Africa
Tanzania has said that it will not withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), however it will be pushing for reforms in the tribunal, according to a report by the Citizen.
Tanzania’s Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation minister Augustine Mahiga said that the rejections of ICC means that it is ‘more just and relevant to African countries’
“The fact that some African countries are re-assessing their relationship and re-considering their membership should serve as a wakeup call for the global judicial body” said the minister
Tanzania however is pushing for radical changes in the court which includes; the powers of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to refer people to the ICC. This is an issue since more than half of the members of the UNSC have not ratified the Rome Statue.
In addition needs the ICC prosecutor’s powers to decide who needs to be prosecuted should be checked to root out ulterior motives.
Tanzania Constitution Forum (TCF) executive director Deus Kibamba believes that to avoid mass withdrawals from the ICC, the membership should be made compulsory. He also said that the International court should create regional or continental registries or branches mandated to probe, prosecute and issue rulings.
